...not that there is something wrong with me, just not what they are looking

I do not take it personally. I am secure with myself!
I try to be a nice guy, honest ...sometimes too honest. An open book

Not into playing games ...life is too
short for that! I'm soooo over drama and bitter queeny bitterness!
Outgoing and enjoy being around friends & family.
Love to
entertain at home or go out with a group of friends. Also, like quiet times with

in bed or a walk on the beach. A romantic gesture by a guy will really get
my attention!
If
I'm involved with someone, I can be kind of high maintenance and need a lot of

masculine or feminine ... Again, it's hard to say!
I think that I'm more
masculine than most, but not in a fake way. HATE the phrase "straight
acting" and HATE anyone who starts
out a chat with 'WAZZUP' !!!! Too ebonic for me!
I guess it is really all about
what someone else's idea of what masculine is all about.
I work on my own car.
I love working with my hands and do not mind getting dirty.
Working around
the house (construction, etc.) and in the yard is fine with me.
I've often said, "I am just as comfortable camping out as I am at a black
tie dinner"! I've driven across country in an eighteen
wheeler (several times) and also been head designer at a florist. I'm a fairly accomplished
cook and know how to entertain.
In other words ... I can refinish a dining
room table and then serve a wonderful meal with all of the china & silver!

Professionally, I've been a licensed real estate agent for over 10 years.
But currently looking to make a career change.
Not wealthy by any means and actually just getting by at the moment. So,

Things
that I like:
I like to travel and experience new things. Have been
through most of the US and a couple of countries in Europe.
I really enjoy the beach, just something about being at the ocean that does
wonders for me. I prefer the Gulf of Mexico to
either the east or west coasts. Better sand and clearer waters.
I enjoy my cigarettes, but really should quit. I enjoy a cocktail or two
in the evenings, usually vodka and some kind of fruit juice
..cranberry,
grapefruit, etc. I also enjoy good wines, usually preferring
reds. I usually DO NOT care for California wines!
Preferring a nice French Merlot or Cabernet and even some South American Shiraz.
And of course, a good Port wine for dessert
is always nice.
Antiques, shopping in junk stores and even flea markets and yard sales
sometimes.
Music tastes really vary, I like Dance music, Classical, Jazz, Blues and
even occasionally certain Operas. To me, music is about
setting the mood ...Dance music for cleaning the house or Jazz/Blues for more
intimate occasions.
Genealogy is a hobby and passion! Parts of my family have been here
since the 1600s. Work on it off and on.
Again, people and things of quality are what I like! Real Quality, not
just because something costs a lot of money!
I love shopping at Neiman Marcus, but had just as rather shop at TJ MAXX and
save some money!

Maybe stop smoking. Last time I quit, I gained a lot of weight.
Workout, get in better shape again.
Career change, something that I enjoy and make a comfortable living.
Actually have always wanted to own my own
Florist and Gift shop, mixed with antiques. But, it takes money to get it
started ... I have the know-how, but not the capital.
Travel more, especially with someone special.
As always ...be more organized. An ongoing project!
Get back into painting, have done both oil and acrylic.
Stop renting and own my own home again. Actually would like to design and
build something ...NOT cookie cutter!

History -

Childhood - My Mother and Father lived in Chicago, IL. When I
was due, my Grandmother flew my Mom home to our hometown in Fort Payne,
AL. My Mother gave birth on May 21st. Then back to Chicago for 3
yrs. Then back to Ft. Payne, AL. My parents divorced when I was
6. I grew up mostly in Ft. Payne, except for a few years at our lake house
near Centre, AL. But, Mother could not make a go of it on her own.
My Grandmother became more of a Mother to me and My Mom was more like a big
Sister.
I have one full Sister who is 3 yrs. younger and a half Sister.
Teens - Didn't have a lot in common with other kids. Always seemed
